Dumbbell Squats

Dumbbell squats can be performed with a stability ball behind you on a wall
if you’re a beginner.

If you are using a ball make sure you don’t lean into it but use it as a
guide instead and only go down as far as you can.

Muscles Worked

Primary Muscles: Quads and Glutes

Secondary Muscles: Hamstrings

What you need: A set of light dumbbells and a stability ball

Preparation :

  • If using a ball: Place a stability ball behind you on a wall and use it
    as a guide. Do not lean into it.
  • Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and feet pointing straight ahead.
  • Hold a dumbbell in each hand, arms by your sides.

Movement :

  • Draw your belly button in and lower down until your upper thighs are
    parallel to the ground.

  • Slowly repeat to starting position and repeat.
