Positive thoughts for Getting in Shape

Getting in shape and achieving great health starts with your thoughts
and your attitude. So before you dive in to the strength training routines and
nutrition advice read on to learn how to develop positive and constructive thoughts.

Negative thoughts and a negative attitude undermine your goals even if you
have good intentions. So if you’re not getting in shape, its probably not
because you don’t know what to eat, how much to eat or that you need to exercise,
but because you’re thoughts are sabotaging your good intentions. If you’re
feeling negative all the time it’s hard to eat nutritiously and a burden to
exercise and move your body.

Try to replace one of those negative thoughts with a positive one. Try it
as an experiment for yourself and see what happens. The mind is a powerful
tool and we can use it as we wish. You are and can be strong healthy and perfect.

Start by becoming aware of the negative thoughts related to getting in shape,
write them down as soon as you realize it. Then replace it with one that’s
positive. Whether you believe it or not, repeat it as often as you can. Repeat
it first thing in the morning when you wake up, before you sleep at night
and any time you remember it throughout the day.

Write it down in your calendar somewhere. Put it on a vision board. Do this
with every negative thought. Send yourself a text message on your phone with
the positive thought to remind yourself.

Create a strong image or vision in your mind of how you’ll look, feel , and
what you’ll do after getting in shape. Work out the details and see yourself
in your new body. Meditate on it for just a few minutes each day and see it
as real as you possibly can and infuse it with many positive thoughts.

Even if you don’t believe it, just keep saying it to yourself over and over
and see what happens. It won’t hurt you, I promise. Here are some examples
..

“Dieting is so hard, I can’t do it.” Replace with: “I only eat healthy wholesome
clean and nutritious food. Yummy!”

“I’m so skinny I just can’t manage to put on any muscle.” Replace with: “I
am strong, muscular and healthy and I feel great.”

“I hate exercise, it’s so boring” Replace with: “I love exercising it feels
so wonderful and rejuvenating.”

“I’m so fat, I’ll never lose this weight” Replace with: “I am now enjoying
vibrant and perfect health”

Now that you’re filled with positive thoughts and a great attitude dive in
and start your journey by investigating the menu to the left.
